Sangria Española

This Spanish Sangria recipe makes 1 pitcher

Sangria is a refreshing drink and you don't need to use a vintage wine. We recommend a reasonably priced

1 Bottle of red wine
1 Lemon cut into wedges
1 Orange cut into wedges
2 Table spoons sugar
1 Shot brandy
2 Cups ginger ale or club soda
Season’s fruits

Pour the wine in the pitcher and squeeze juice wedges from the lemon and orange into the wine. Stir in wine and orange juice and adjust sweetness to taste. Save a slice of orange skin to decorate.
Slice the fruit into thin rounds and put into in the pitcher. You can use any other in-season fruit. Watermelon, jackfruit, pineapple, grapes, melon, etc. (leaving out seeds if possible) and put into in the pitcher

Add brandy and sugar, and then place in refrigerator overnight.
The next morning, Add ginger ale or club soda just before serving
Make sure all liquid indredients, plus fruit, are well-chilled.
When ready to serve, use a wooden spoon to press firmly down on the fruit in the pitcher, opening up their flavors (do not break fruit round apart).
Add some ice cubes and serve!

MAI TAI...Is it Thais drink???

Mai Tai: Invented in 1944 by Victor "Trader Vic" Bergeron, when he mixed Jamaican rum, juice from a fresh lime, a few dashes of orange curaco syrup, some french orgeat, and rock candy syrup. As recounted by Trader Vic history, it was served to some friends from Tahiti, who promptly said "Mai Tai, Roa Ae!", which in Tahitian means "Out of this world, the best!".

This drink is also available in Thailand as well, try it !!

In presenting this site to the public, I would like to express that it is nothing more than an effort of a Thais who, though neither experienced in the use of the English language nor an expert in beverage, wishes nevertheless to present a sort of beverage information for Thais by writing some topic in English so that it may reach a wider public.....Finally, we know how to drink them and please keep in mind. Do not drive while you are drunk !!!
